Arrival to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Then, through Varzob Gorge, departure to Zerafshan Valley until the Alouddin Lake. On the way, you can admire the magnificent views of Posrud-darya. Picnic on the road (2700 m). In the evening – meeting with drovers, who will carry our luggage, starting from the next day. Dinner and overnight in tents on the shore of Alouddin Lake.
After breakfast, ascent up to the Piyola Lake, afterwards – ascent until the Mutnoye (Muddy) Lake (3500 m) from where you can see the beautiful peaks: Castle (5070 m), Energy (5120 m), Mirali (5060 m) and the most beautiful and highest among the Fann Mountains – Chimtargha Peak (5489 m). Picnic ashore, a hike around the lake and descent to the camp (5-6 hours walk). Dinner and overnight in tents on the shore of Alouddin Lake.
Ascent through the Alouddin Pass (3860 m). At the top of the pass, you can clearly admire a panorama of peaks which have a long history of mountaineering: Chapdara (5050 m), Adamkuh (4700 m) and Maria (4970 m). At the foot of the Maria Peak, you can see all glaciers and the Kulikalon Lakes. Picnic on the way, descent through the Dushoha Lakes to Kulikalon (2900 m) (5-6 hours walk). Dinner and overnight in tents ashore.
In the morning, after breakfast, hike around Kulikalon lakes, view of the Florida mine, lunch at the camp. Fishing is possible. Dinner ashore (lamb kebabs).
Through Chukurak Pass (3180 m), descent to the Chukurak Lake, whose name is translated “Deep Lake” (2450 m). Meeting with local residents who live in the villages seasonally. Picnic on the shore of the lake. Afterwards, descent towards the Yakkahona village (1800 m) through the Uredzh Gorge (5-6 hours walk). Dinner and overnight at the guest house of local people.
Yakkahona – Khujand – Tajik-Uzbek border “Oybek” – Bekobod (330 km) (5-6 hours drive).
